Jessica Simpson was born in Abilene, Texas July 10, 1980 to Joe and Tina Simpson. Named Jessica Ann Simpson she grew up in the Dallas, Metro and went to School in Richardson Texas. She attended Richardson North Junior High (1995) then at JJ Pierce High School (1995-1998). Nicknamed 'Jess' she stands 5 foot 3 inches with naturally blonde hair. Her father, Joe, was a psychologist and your minister in the local Baptist Church. Jessica grew up singing in the church choir and at age 12 auditioned for, 'The Mickey Mouse Club,' along with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Jessica did not get the part. Jessica continued singing Gospel songs and while at church camp a record company noticed her and signed her for an album. For the next period of time Jessica worked on the Album but; unfortunately the record label filed bankruptcy prior to the release date. Jessica continued to sing at church functions and with her dad as her manager began singing on the Christian Youth Concert Circuit selling her records after each performance. In 1999 her debut album, 'Sweet Kisses,' was released giving credence to the hits 'I Wanna Love You Forever' and 'I Think I’m in Love With You.' Combining forces with 98 degrees for a singing tour Jessica Simpson met Nick Lachey. It didn’t take long for this meeting to turn into a fledging relationship.

In Touch Weekly reports that Jessica confirms: "I'm adopting!" According to the magazine Jessica is entering a new phase in her life spending more time cooking for friends, at home and "nesting." As part of this she wants children. Importantly she wants to adopt a child as soon as possible and is hoping to have two by the time she is 28. Supposedly Jessica has been thinking of adopting ever since her 1999 visit to the Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. In Touch Weekly reports that Jessica is wearing Nick's Ring after Nick Lachey declares he still loves Jessica Simpson, she sends a message that she's not over him, either. According to In Touch Nick revealed that he still loved Jessica in a radio interview and Jessica started wearing her wedding ring around her neck within a couple of days. On the same necklace she is wearing a cross she was given when she signed her record deal and a cross in a circle that her mom and sister gave her. Perhaps nothing would be thought of the change in Jewelry except that Nick abruptly stopped dating MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo. Like Marilyn Monroe, Raquel Welch, Jane Maynesfield and other great sex symbols the ability of Jessica Simpson to sing actually detracts from her trueness. Jessica you need to Work in movies, do sitcoms, sell posters but don't let your father market you as this great solo singer. Your fans don't care whether you sing a note. Nobody is saying that Jessica can't sing it is just that with new "American Idol's" being ground out every year while fight the tide? Jessica is a great sex symbol and great sex symbols only come along every 20 or 30 years. Jessica be what you are. BEAUTIFUL!!! Now back to the program.
October 2006; The Jessica Simpson movie, Employee of the Month was reviewed by Movies.com where their
reviewer Dave White stated, The Basics about the Jessica Simpson Movie, Employee of the Month staring Dane Cook, Dax Shepard,
Jessica Simpson, Efren Ramirez, Tim Bagley are that it involves a big warehouse type super store called Super Club (Costco,
basically) box boy (Cook) wants to bang the checkout girl (Simpson). This makes sense because they're both so damn boring.
Seriously, was "pretty" the only casting requirement made for this movie? Anyway, he's got to become employee of the month to
make the score. So he competes with Shepard for the title. Too bad they don't sell big boxes of funny at this store.
What's the Deal? I know that millions of people find Cook hilarious. I'm not one of them. And the movie sort of rests on how much
you love him. So, if you love him, then you might not care that the movie's only laughs come when Napoleon Dynamite's Pedro shows
up and acts weird.
The Employee Handbook Clearly States That You Are Happy: They filmed this in a Costco and just covered up all the signs
that said so. You know they did because the Costco store brand, Kirkland, is easily visible. And I wonder whether the condition of
shooting there, product placement intact, was that it was unacceptable to make it seem as though working in a bulk-shopping
environment is in any way like being in hell. Because all the characters — even the slackers — seem pretty content. And the
movie never once asserts that smashing the corporate chokehold that huge, big-box chain stores have on America might be more fun
than winning the title of employee of the month. Oh, wait, that movie's called Idiocracy.

Nick Lachey Breaks Marriage News to Jessica Simpson. Reportedly,
Jessica Simpson's holidays may be ruined this year. The 26 year old singer received a call from ex-husband Nick Lachey telling her he plans to marry his new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo in the very near future. Reports say Nick called Jess because he wanted the news to come from him and not other sources like the paparazzi. The two apparently spent 40 minutes on the phone discussing the situation before ending the call on relatively good terms. Although Jessica acted as though everything was okay, sources say it was clear she was disappointed with the news.
Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson separated in November of last year, just after the release of the final season of "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica." Since then, Jess has been linked to a number of hot hollywood men like Maroon 5's Adam Levine, quarterback Tony Romo and, most recently, singer John Mayer. While Jess was out testing the waters, Nick was settling down with his new girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo.
Sources also say that Nick Lachey has plans to marry the MTV host by the end of the year.
DailyIndia.com is reporting that cast of Jessica Simpson's new movie, Employee of the month are slamming Jessica for forgetting her lines. DailyIndia.com reports that,
it happened just days after she had forgotten the lines of the song she was singing in tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton. Simpson is working on the remake of 'Working Girl'. And filmmakers seem to be frustrated with her effort, reports hollywood.com.
A source from the set says: 'After the seventh take on one shot, the director hid a microphone in her ear so a crew member could feed her lines. Everyone was embarrassed for her, but she laughed it off, saying, 'I'm sorry, everyone. I'm sorry'.'
Her co-star Luke Wilson seemed to be a lot more understanding and encouraged her by patting her on the back and reassuring her that everything would be fine.
Another site, MonsterandCritics.com reports that Jessica Simpson has to have her movie lines fed to her by a microphone in her ear - because she is struggling to remember them.
The actress - who is currently filming romantic comedy 'Blonde Ambition' with Luke Wilson - is apparently finding it too hard to learn her lines and has turned to the producers for help.

The site ActressArchives.com carried a wonderful article about Jessica Simpson’s mother being angry over Jessica's Dolly Parton performance. They reported on December 8, 2006 that
Jessica Simpson who always seems perfect in that she can sing, she can act, and she’s definitely attractive may not have been at the top of her game recently. Thankfully for Jessica Simpson, her dismal performance of the famous Dolly Parton song 9 to 5 earlier this week will be corrected and re-taped before the show airs on TV. However, not before Jessica’s mother had a few choice words to say.
As reported on Monday by virtually every news outlet on the planet, Jessica Simpson had a disastrous night on Sunday at the Kennedy Center tribute to Dolly Parton, where the chart-topping singer flubbed the lines to Parton’s hit song 9 to 5 then left the stage to no applause. After a heartfelt apology, Jessica Simpson stated, “Dolly, you make me so nervous, I can't even sing the words right.” In the days that followed, various excuses popped up in the press that defended Simpson and blamed the terrible performance on everything from a faulty dress to nerves and bad cue cards.
Today, though, TMZ reports that the mother of Jessica Simpson was not pleased at all with the singer’s performance and apparently gave Jessica a dressing down in front of Dolly Parton and President George Bush. As TMZ suggests, immediately following the show, Jessica’s mother reportedly told Simpson that her time on stage was “embarrassing” and “unprofessional” after she failed to learn her lines and had to use cue cards. The website also reports that the producers of the show begged Joe Simpson to allow them to re-shoot Jessica’s portion. As the report further reveals, it’s alleged that they would have to cut her out of the tribute completely if they couldn’t re-shoot.
According to People magazine, Dolly Parton doesn’t seem to be holding a grudge or any ill will toward Jessica Simpson and was quoted in a statement to People as saying, “ Jessica is so talented that I'm sure that someday they will be paying tribute to her and I would be honored to perform for her. But I'll probably be so nervous that I'll forget my wig!" A representative for Jessica Simpson, Cindi Berger also confirmed that Jessica was overcome with emotion and upset when things didn’t go as planed, but Dolly has graciously offered Simpson a chance to do the song over with her at her home, “She can come over to my house and we will sing it together any time.”
Jessica isn’t the first Simpson to have an embarrassing moment on stage, as younger sister Ashlee Simpson was the first in the family to flub a song in front of the camera while performing on Saturday Night Live. After taking to the stage, it became apparent that Ashlee was lip-syncing on live television, with no chance for a re-shoot.
Now that Jessica Simpson has been given an opportunity to redeem herself before the Kennedy Center Tribute to Dolly Parton is televised on CBS this coming December 26, Jessica can escape the same embarrassing fate as her sister Ashlee. That is, of course, if no one checked out a video of the original performance that’s circulating around the Internet or watches Inside Edition.
Maybe it was a case of nervous jitters, but Jessica Simpson isn’t the first high profile performer that has had to re-tape their performance at a Kennedy Center Tribute show. Last year Beyonce had to redo her part of a Tina Turner tribute after a faulty microphone ruined her original performance.
